Mr. Novel's practice focuses on criminal litigation and complex civil disputes in state and federal courts. He has tried numerous criminal cases with charges ranging from murder to official misconduct. His cases have received coverage in The New York Times, The Associated Press, NBC News, and CBS News.
As a recognized trial attorney, Mr. Novel lectures to law students on trial preparation and trial advocacy at Rutgers University School of Law. He serves as Chair of the Criminal Practice Committee of the Hudson County Bar Association.
